to keep track of blogs, you're going to use an RSS reader called feedly
If you haven't heard of an RSS reader before, watch the video on the right to hear how it works. Essentially, it's a single site where you add all the blogs you're interested in reading, and it makes it easy for you to read them all from one place.
It will let you see all the posts you haven't yet read, while also allowing you to email interesting posts and mark certain posts to look at later. Sadly, the most commonly used RSS reader (Google Reader) just shut its doors. Right now there doesn't seem to be an amazing replacement, but many are using a site called Feedly. You can of course use your computer with Feedly, but you can also use smart phones and tablets too. The biggest drawback for Feedly is that you can't search for words in posts. However the good news is that's a feature they are working on adding! |

sign up for feedly
Sign up for Feedly simply by clicking "login" and then use your google account name to enter. (Click here for more help.) This will create an account for you.
Then you need to add some blogs to Feedly! Indeed, it is simply as easy as typing the blog address into Google Reader and you're done! After signing up, try adding two blogs! On the top right, after you're logged in, click on "+Add Content" and then type in the web address of the following two blogs -- just to test things out. Add Dan Meyer's blog: http://blog.mrmeyer.com/ Add Kate Nowak's blog: http://function-of-time.blogspot.com/ Then play around! Check out various features! If you need help, here are some FAQs. And the video on the right is a great tutorial to get you set up and learn some of the basic features of the site. |

So check them out. Also, you can often find great blogs by looking at blogrolls on the side of blogs you like, and also from blogs linked to in posts that you like. As you go forth, you'll find yourself curating your own list of blogs that you find interesting.
